A downloadable fishing game for Windows
A fishing game in a seemingly serene setting, featuring moments in time that stick with a person, how memories can be deceptive, and what else may lurk within them.
In this game, you cast your hook into the abyss, struggle with your thoughts to bring up a glimpse into the past, and reel up memories with your trusty fishing pole. Discover yourself and see how your thoughts consume you.
This game jam submission is from some Irish developers who are part of the IMIRT Dublin Games Springboard 2025.
Controls: (PC / gamepad )
- Look: Mouse / Right stick
- Cast out line: Left click / Left trigger
- Catch minigame: Space / A button
- Reel in line: Scroll mouse wheel, S, Down arrow / Rotate left Stick
- Pause: Escape, P
- Reset Rod: R / Left number
- Turn off Catch battle AI (Story mode): Tab / Right bumper

Oh wow, wasn't excepting such a deep game! Really cool, well written, it makes me think of how I have a tendency to only write bad things in my journal... Well done!
(on a technical side: this game is very resource-hungry, my fan is at max speed, maybe try to use less RTX reflections or detailed meshes in the future 😅)
